EMS Dual Fire CDI systems
EMS Dual Fire CDI systems are designed with the focus on performance and reliability.
All provide the same level of features. The only difference is the number of input and output channels.
Features
Selectable high or low power output. The
output power can be controlled in real time via any ECU output.
| Selectable rotary or piston engine modes.
| Selectable drag or circuit racing mode.
| Selectable rising or falling trigger edge.
| Able to fire leading and trailing spark plugs
for rotary engines.
| Able to fire twin spark plugs on piston
engines without the need for double ended coils. | |
Specifications in circuit racing mode
| Power Output (Low / High) | 70 / 110 mJ |
| Voltage Output (Low / High) | 370 / 470 Volts |
| Maximum Current Draw (Low / High) | 6 / 8 amps |
Specifications in drag racing mode
| Power Output (Low / High) | 70 / 150 mJ |
| Voltage Output (Low / High) | 370 / 550 Volts |
| Maximum Current Draw (Low / High) | 6 / 12 amps |
Igniter Modules
EMS use high energy, fast switching IGBT drivers in their Coil Igniters. This ensures that the induced voltage in the coil will be as high as possible to provide the strongest spark possible.
EMS has a range of igniter modules for 1, 2, 3 and 4 coils.
